PESCHIERA- MANTUA CYCLE ROUTE
A route that goes from Lake Garda to the city of Mantua, with its beautiful lakes; a simple itinerary between two UNESCO sites. The Peschiera -Mantua cycle path is a perfect route for the whole family. It is 43 km long with a small height gain of 300 meters. The path runs beside the river Mincio, surrounded by fields of wheat and poppies.

Along the way, you will pass Borghetto sul Mincio, one of the most picturesque villages in Italy, where you can taste a typical stuffed pasta dish: the “tortellino of Valeggio sul Mincio” also called “Love knot”. Valeggio is also a charming village worth visiting, as well as the Sigurtà Park and the Scaliger Castle.
When you arrive in Mantua, enjoy a ride in the town centre where you can taste the typical local cake called “sbrisolona” and visit the many historical sites such as Palazzo Ducale. If you do not want to cycle back, you can leave the bike in Mantua (at a small extra charge) and return by bus or train. We also offer a pick-up service with a minivan fitted with bike rack; booking is required.
